We are glad you asked! On the back of each device, there is a circular reset button that you can press for 10 seconds to reset the device. Please only reset the device if 1) setting up for the first time, or 2) re-adding a device after the device has been deleted from the app.
- Open the app.

- Click “Delete"
Delete and reset your Garager device and then go through the adding process again. Please see “How to delete Garager Device" and “How to reset Garager Device"
There are a few ways to resolve this issue. Please consider buying a WiFi extender or repeater dependent on your WiFi infrastructure. Additionally, please pair your Garager device with the application while in close proximity to the router and only after successfully pairing the device with the app, try and test the WiFi connection in your garage.
- Using your mobile device, navigate to the Google Play or App Store and search, then install the Garager app,
- Register for an account,
- A verification code will be sent to your email,
- Enter verification code into the app,
- Voila! Enjoy using Garager!

A forgotten password isn’t goodbye – at least not for long! To reset your password, navigate to the sign in page and click “Forgotten Password" at the bottom of the screen. Then type in your username (phone number or email). A verification code will be sent to you. Upon receiving, please enter it. After, create a new password and enjoy using the Garager app again!
Take a few deep breaths and proceed to warrior pose – jk! The most common reason for a live video disruption is an interruption in WiFi. In almost all cases, unplugging and re-plugging the power to your device should restore live video. If the problem persists, please call or email our technical support team.
We are glad you asked. Well, first you need to determine which wires are responsible for the open and close commands that are given to you garage door. Typically, there are four wires: two will be for open and close and the other two will be for the various sensors on the sides of your garage. Please consult your garage motor manual for specifics.
We do not support any MyQ garage motors at the moment. Please check back regularly for updates regarding compatibility.
We are sorry to hear that! If the WiFi signal to your garage is not strong enough, the live video may not play correctly. To remedy this issue, please consider a range extender for your WiFi or a WiFi repeater.
Yes – but not too many! You will need a small Flathead screwdriver as well a tool to strip the plastic casing off of the end of the Garager wiring.
Allow us to shed some light on the issue. A fast blinking red light indicates that your device is attempting to connect to WiFi. A slow blinking blue light indicates that your device is connected to the router. A fast blinking blue light indicates that your device is attempting to connect to the internet. Finally, a solid blue light means that you are connected to the internet.
Please navigate to your device settings by clicking on your device video screen and then clicking on the gear icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen. From there please click on security settings and then on motion detection. You can alter your security settings from this interface or turn them completely off.
Yes! As long as you can access your device via the application, you can restart it. Please navigate to your device settings by clicking on your device video screen and then clicking on the gear icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
