Alexa Skills

Alcidae Garager 
Locate and enable the “Alcidae Smart Life” Skillset: click here 
1. Download the Amazon Alexa App from the Apple App store or Google Play store. 
2. Login with your Amazon account. 
3. Tap on ‘Devices at the bottom right corner’. 
4. Tap ‘ENABLE SMART HOME SKILLS’. 
5. Tap on Search. 
6. Enter ‘Alcidae’ in the search bar. 
7. Tap on ‘Alcidae Smart Life’. 
8. Tap ‘ENABLE TO USE’ 
9. Enter your Alcidae user ID and password. 
10. When logging in it will require a verification code, that will be sent to your user ID (either to your phone number or email used to log into the app). 
11. Tap ‘Allow’, then skills will be able to use. 
12. Tap discover devices 
13. Tap Set up device 
14. Tap next to set up Security voice code* 
15. Create your voice code 
16. Tap Done to finish set up 
17. The Alcidae skill is set up and ready to use 

After installing Alcidae Smart Life Skill, simply say “Alexa,...” 

Use the command sets below to send voice commands to your device through Alexa 
Open [device name] - Opens garage door 
Close [device name] - Closes garage door 
Unlock [device name] - Opens garage door 
Lock [device name] - Closes garage door 

*Alexa will ask for a voice code(Pin) when prompted to open or unlock Garage Door.This is an extra step in security built into Amazon Alexa. 

Google Assistant Actions

Alcidae Cloud Cams
Locate and enable the Talk to “Alcidae Smart Home” action: http://bit.ly/2T1SHaH
Log into the authorization page with your Alcidae account and be sure to check both profile and openid
Say “Hey/Okay Google, Talk to “Alcidae smart home”

Use the command sets below to send voice commands to your device through Google Assistant
1) Get list of missed notifications: Update [device name] missed notifications
2) Announce missed notifications: Read [device name] missed notifications
3) Close Motion Detection: Close [device name] motion detection
4) Close Sound Detection: Close [device name] sound detection
5) Open Motion Detection: Open [device name] motion detection
6) Open Sound Detection: Open [device name] sound detection
7) Turn off Notification (all): Turn off [device name] notification
8) Turn on Notification (all): Turn on [device name] notification
9) Modify Motion Detection: Set [device name] motion detection to [high/medium/low]
10) Modify Sound Detection: Set [device name] sound detection to [high/medium/low]

Garager 
Locate and enable the Talk to “Alcidae Garager” action : http://bit.ly/2TK824E 
1. Download the Google Home and Google Assistant App from the Apple App Store or Google Play store. 
2. Login with you google account in both Apps. 
3. Tap on the + sign top left corner. 
4. Tap on “Set up device” 
5. Under ‘Works with Google’ tap ‘Have something already set up?’.
6. Scroll down and tap on ‘Alcidae Smart Home’ 
7. Enter your Alcidae account and password 
8. Tap “Allow” then any compatible device will appear on the home page. 
9. Next go to Google Assistant and tap on ‘Explore’ 
10. Search ‘Alcidae’ in the search bar. 
11. Tap “Alcidae Garager’. 
12. Enter your Alcidae account and password again. 
13. Tap ‘Allow’. 
14. You’ll see voice command is ready. 

After installing Garager Skill, start by Saying “Hey/Okay Google, Talk to “Alcidae* Garager”then ...
